As a highly efficient green manure crop, sesbania is widely distributed across multiple provinces and plays an irreplaceable role in paddy field rotation systems as a biological nitrogen fixer.

Sesbania demonstrates exceptional environmental adaptability, with strong tolerance to salinity-alkalinity, waterlogging, and drought. This makes it an ideal pioneer crop for soil reclamation in China's coastal regions and inland saline-alkaline areas. Under saline soil conditions, sesbania not only grows and fixes nitrogen normally but also progressively improves soil physicochemical properties through root activity and organic matter accumulation.

田菁绿肥使用方法 / Application Method

在水稻移栽前50-60天播种田菁。当田菁生长至约1.2-1.5米高、生物量最大化时，在水稻移栽前1周将其翻压入土。翻压后的田菁在土壤中快速分解，释放大量氮素和有机质，为水稻主季提供充足的营养基础。建议每公顷播种量45-60公斤。

Sow sesbania 50-60 days before rice transplanting. When sesbania reaches approximately 1.2-1.5 meters in height and biomass is maximized, incorporate it into the soil 1 week before transplanting the main season paddy. The incorporated sesbania decomposes rapidly in the soil, releasing abundant nitrogen and organic matter to provide a strong nutritional foundation for the rice crop. Recommended seeding rate: 45-60 kg per hectare.
